I wrote about Chanel Spring 2012 nail polishes before. Chanel named their 2012 nail polishes after the months of spring. April, May and June…!! Here is my previous post about these dream shades==> Click..!! Click..!!
I already fell in love with June. June, which is a lovely creamy pastel apricot color was my favorite. But after trying May on, I totally changed my mind. I bought May, which is a soft, sweet baby pink.
According to Chanel, May is an “intense pink, the universal shade of happiness.” It is not an intense pink but I totally agree about this being a happy color. May is so girly and innocent. Try it yourself..!! :)
It is amazingly sunny for an October month here in Copenhagen. It is not warm, but sunny. Those who live in Scandinavia know what I am talking about. :) Because of the shining sun we still want warm and glowing colors.
It would have been nice, if I could have used one of the new Chanel S/S 2012 nail polishes right now. I loved them..!! Chanel named their 2012 nail polishes after the months of spring. April, May and June. I already fell in love with june. June is a lovely creamy pastel apricol color. I can not wait for spring. Which is your favorite?
Kardashians are everywhere, doing everything…!! Now they are coming with their own nail polish collection by O.P.I. The collection is going to be called Kardashian Kolors. Kim, Kourt, Khloe, Kendall, Kylie and their my mom will all have their own shades of nail polish with cute names. You can already see one of the Khloe’s shades;
O.P.I. is one of the nail polish brands that I love. I am looking forward to see the collection, especially Kim’s shades. I am sure dark red is one of her shades. What do you think?
Fluorescent colors are so popular this summer..!! Dior’s new released fluorescent nail polishes are therefore not a surprise for us.
Dior’s new Electric Tropics Collection includes two Catwalk Duo nail polish. My choice from those two is the searing deep orange Aloha (#638). As you can understand from the word “Duo”, each nail polish is packed with a super glossy topcoat to add a special flash of shine to your summertime nails.
Rings; Pilgrim Clutch; Balenciaga Nail ; Dior ALOHA
Because Dior is so organized, it also gives you a little instruction booklet. Skimming through the instructions it reads, apply 2 layers of polish and apply the top coat about 30 seconds after the second coat of color. I have already spoiled my tanned fingers with Dior’s Aloha. Unfortunately I had not enough time to use the topcoat for the picture above. But the bright tropical shade still stands out.
I have been told that these nail polishes should be stored in a dark place. They obviously have a fluo formula, which pick up a glow when one is out at night. I can’t wait to test this soon. :)
Once again, Dior polish never disappoints..!!
Uslu Airlines; created by make-up artist Feride Uslu from New York. RIK is the first polish in their newly started ‘fashion designer’ series. The collaborateur for this one is Ulrika Lundgren from Amsterdam, createuse of the label ‘Rika’. Stars are the signature of her label, black is the colour of choice: when you apply what seems to be just a black polish, little stars appear on your nail. I loved it..!! It is unfortunatelly sold out on their webpage. I cannot wait to try this on my nails.
If you want stars and don’t want to pay 21 € for a nail polish , try Pieces..!! Smaller stars and no color, but still works.
