Early one Sunday morning in 2007, Henrik, Knut and Thomas, three Norwegians in their twenties, fantasized about the ultimate chill-out wear that would be perfect for a lazy day at home. It was the day “ONEPIECE” was born.
Their idea to sew a hoody sweatshirt to a pair of sweatpants and connect the two with a giant zipper saw the birth of the first OnePiece..!!
ONEPIECE became a huge trend in Scandinavia, and is now catching on in England and other European countries. Celebs including Rihanna, Lady Gaga and One Direction, as well as reality stars, have gone crazy for them. If you have’nt discovered ONEPIECE yet, you better take a look at the following pictures..!!
Chanel Le Vernis, Peridot #531
A release for Fall 2011 Chanel collection..!! This color is designed to add an intense flash of shifting color to your dark winter wardrobe. The color changes as the light plays across the surface of the nail. There is a strong clear metallic peridot-green-gold effect with a metallic sparkle.
I loved Peridot. It is so dramatic and unusual. And it is a perfect match with black. Here it is on my fingers;
Chanel Precision Eyelash Curler
Precision Eyelash curler is a limited edition product from Chanels Sophisticated Eye Collection. The curler is all black, made in Japan, and has a very lightweight feel. It arrives in an oversized box with two replacement pads, so you get a total of 3 (that’s including the one on the curler itself). Brilliant..!!
Chanel Presicion eyelash curler is delivering beautiful lift and intense curves, the arc shape of the precision eyelash curler fits perfectly against the eyelid. Chanel fans should definetely try it..!! Remember it is a limited edition. :)
Chanel Illusion d’Ombre
These new cream-gel eyeshadow called Illusion d’Ombre come in 6 shades this fall. These are small potted shadows with a twist-off lid and small capped angled brush.
The color I have chosen is Illusoire - rich pigmented and smokey with multi-dimensional sparkles.
This sunday song is coming from Norway, Oslo..!! I am in a very good mood and singing the song “Jungle Drum” from the Icelandic singer; My heart is beating like a jungle drum, Rroo ka do ka do goong ka do ka roo ka doong doong..!! :)
Chanel shows always have a very strong theme. Karl Lagerfeld took us to the fairytale world again for Chanel Spring 2012 show. Looking at the seashell clutches, blowfish rings, seaweed inspired bags was enough for us to understand this years theme; Ocean.. The runway was also lined with sand.
I’m not sure how many times a woman will have an opportunity to wear a seashell-shaped clutch in her life. Beach weddings or pool parties can be a good excuse for me. I would definitely like to see how to open this clutches up. :)
Chanel Spring 2012 has lots of non-runway bags too. But they all are very original and different. Chanel’s ladylike style is not going to be something we are going to see much next year. I loved the collection. What about you?
In centuries girls have worn white wedding dresses on their big days. Fashion changes all the time but the white color stayed the same for our dream wedding dresses. Vera Wang is certainly aiming to make a change about this. She has experimented with colors before. She has tried green, blue and even purple. But for her Spring 2012 collection she went to the extreme and designed black wedding dresses.
Vera Wang thinks black adds sensuality and sexuality, and a little bit of severity to the wedding dresses. I loved the designs, but they are still black. I think it is a bit too strange for me to wear a wedding dress in black, which is a symbol of mourn in many cultures. What about you?? Would you dare to walk down the aisle in a black wedding dress??
In my opinion white is the symbol of new beginnings. White is hope … White means peace and good intentions … Good men carry a white flag and pirates flag is always black…
Most importantly, the princess is waiting for the prince with the white horse and the evil knight rides always a black horse. :)
